Christmas Day

We saved Taylor one more present for Christmas day...a mini cabbage patch kid with her father's bday! She seemed pleased.

I was holding Taylor opening her gifts for her and we noticed she wasn't very excited about them anymore...not at all...so tired of opening that she had shut her eyes and gone to sleep! In the middle of it all!

Another tradition

We are all about starting some new family traditions to keep while we raise Taylor. This is another Christmas one-
We want to read The Night Before Christmas to Taylor every Christmas Eve before she goes to sleep. We will take a photo of it and paste it in her book so she will have it when she is grown.

We had a blast going to see the lights at the Capitol! Taylor loves lights as you have read about before and so I knew she'd love those!

Family Tradition

Travis and I decided we were going to start some new family traditions...one of which is going to Branson to see the lights every December. The first trip was a success. Taylor is young, but she LOVED the lights! Watch the end of the slide show where we couldn't even get her to look at the camera cause she was too busy looking at the lights!

Pictures, Santa, found my thumb...busy day!

Today we had a family fun day! Travis took off work and we went to Thetfords for Taylor's 3 month photos! She did great and even sat in a chair by herself grinning for some! I will post some of those as soon as I get them!

Then we were off to see Santa! As you can see Taylor enjoyed herself. I don't think she actually ever looked at Santa, but she grinned for the camera. We helped her and told Santa that she wanted bath toys for Christmas! Check out the I heart Santa shirt-hilarious!

At some point today I saw Taylor sucking on her fist as she always does, but this time it looked different-She was sucking her thumb! I yelled at Travis to look and he said she was doing that earlier but he thought it was a one time thing...guess not! We tried to prevent the thumb sucking, but Taylor still figured it out!
