New Car

So...I had to say goodbye to the trailblazer! I loved that car. Really didn't want to let it go, but it was having problems, and we needed to get a bigger car...any ideas why? Anyway, Travis had found this suburban online and we were headed to the Gentry Safari and he wanted to go check it out. We ended up getting it that day! I actually have grown to like it alot. I just hate parking it!

Kansas City

Well, we had planned a nice "warm" trip to KC to go to the zoo, etc. But plans got changed! We still had fun tho!

Beckett and Taylor were sooo cute holding hands in the car on the way up! They had the best car ride!

Can you tell by this picture how much snow KC got? I dug out the holes and the snow still stayed! It was pretty, but kind of a pain for our trip.

Saturday we went to Crown plaza to walk around and stay warm. They had a area with fairytale exhibits the kids could go in. Taylor loved Snow Whites house the best I think, but here Beckett and her are plaing on Jack's bean stalk!

The kids pic outside a really cool Train restaurant. The food wasn't anything to brag about, but it was neat that a minature train bought it to your table! They loved watching the trains!

Beep gave TayTay her first make up lesson. Taylor sat patiently and watched Beep and put on a little herself :)

As soon as we got to the first hotel, Tay ran and jumped on the couch and grabbed the phone. Thank God the hotel had a phone or just don't think she would have been able to deal!

Sunday night we went to Wolfe Lodge hotel. It was awesome! It had a huge indoor waterpark. However, I didn't seem to get any photos of it. I will have to see if anyone else did. I got extremely sick with a stomach bug that kept me from getting to go back to the waterpark the 2nd day :(

All in all, we had fun! Just what we all needed. Oh-and yes, we did get to go to Cheesecake factory!

It's a sad day for us here on Earth, but in heaven the angels are singing and the fish are jumping! Granpa went to be with the Lord this week.

Lucky weekend in LR

We had a fun and lucky weekend in LR! Lots of great pics...read lucky part at bottom.

Now for the lucky part...we went to the horse races with Brad and Jill while Bebe and Pops kept the kids. Well, Travis won over $600 on a $6 bet (that he picked by dropping 3 fingers on a page!) and in the very next race, I won about $250 on a $12 bet!

We went to gauchos to celebrate for dinner! Fun weekend!

18 month stats...

Taylor had her 18 month check up today and she is doing great!

Still only 8 teeth, but doc said that is good. The later they come in the better. He asked if she was talking...haha...oh yeah. a ton. Then she said "doctor" for him. When he was all done she said "thank you" all on her own. cute. she is big into saying that these days and she knows the right time to!

Our Senior Company members put on a workshop for a fundraiser and Samantha and I proposed that they do a toddler class for Ella and Taylor...Here is the outcome!

Friday, we went out sledding for a bit. I can't tell if Taylor liked it or not. At times she was grinning from ear to ear, other times she was crying. And when we went inside she cried hard, so I think overall she liked it!
