Taylor's 1st Halloween!!!

Taylor loved her costume! Probably because it was like wearing a big blanket! She was either awake and happy or asleep everytime she had it on.

This is how my first Halloween went...

First I had a good breakfast in my cute Halloween bib!

Then I had the terrible doctors appointment where a mean lady gave me 3 shots!

Then I slept for a really long time...but when I woke up I was at Daddy's office party! Everyone thought I was so cute!

Since we don't have many neighbors, I went to Ms. Clara's house to trick or treat! All my dance friends were there!

When I got home tonight, we wrapped up a GREAT Halloween by me opening my card from my parents and taking a family photo! What a fun, but wild day!

2 month old doctors appointment

Well, today started off good. Taylor was in a great mood. She had her 2 month old appointment!

10 lbs 3 oz (32nd percentile)

22.75 inches (66th percentile)

15 in-head

Then the bad part started! Shot time. I thought that I would have a hard time with this. However, Taylor's reaction made me laugh! I'm a terrible mother! But really, it was funny.
Travis was holding her hands back. The nurse stuck her the first time and Taylor raised one eyebrow like "who did that" then the nurse immediately stuck her with the other one and she looked mad and started screaming...and continued screaming through the 3rd shot. Her expressions were hilarious. I can only imagine her thought process went something like this:
"hey...who did that, it kind of hurt, hey...you did it again and it really hurt, I better cry so they don't do it again...are you kidding? a 3rd one. can you not tell that I'm in pain...who did that anyway...they are NOT my friend"
When Travis picked her up she looked around like "where is the mean lady?"

Well, Pops and I spent a lot of time together when I visited LR for the week. One morning while mom slept, Pops decided to change me out of my pjs. He was told by Bebe that there were some white onesies in the dresser drawer. He picked the one he liked and put me in it...when mom woke up she was laughing hard...my outfit was huge!!! It was so big that I held on to the front of it all morning like I do with my blankets. I loved it though! I think Pops did a great job dressing me no matter what anyone says.

For my dad's 28th birthday, we drove to Pine Bluff to visit Jeff and Chasity and my new friend Brinley who was born on October 6th.

Taylor has been smiling a lot lately. But of course when I grab the camera she isn't doing it. But starting last night we can make funny noises and get her to smile at us so I was actually able to catch this on camera!
